Industry Research + Company Data + Individual Input.
With a big firm background in management consulting and organizational change - and an MA in gender/cultural studies - Femily (aka Emily Howe) advises tech and other male-majority companies, like law and finance to help them advance womxn, foster inclusion of all kinds, and reduce workplace bias.
Her linear, evidence-based [intersectional feminist] approach looks at what research - plus individual company data - says is not working well (from recruiting to retention to promotions).
Then, she helps her clients design and implement customized solutions based on what the latest research says works to fix those issues.
INCLUSION ISN'T JUST THE RIGHT THING TO DO - IT'S THE RIGHT THING FOR BUSINESS.

+ I love talking to the MEDIA
As a Gender/Cultural Studies MA with a big firm management consulting background Femily speaks at and advises Silicon Valley and other male-majority sectors and teams, like law, finance, and engineering – on gender, equity, and building an ally culture.
From Silicon Valley's Watermark Conference for Women to San Francisco's Commonwealth Club, Femily frequently speaks to companies, conferences, and women's events.
She is an expert media source for outlets such as C-SPAN, KQED, Fast Company, Bustle, The Telegraph, and Thrive Global by Arianna Huffington.
Femily's popular, digital courses give ambitious womxn and nonbinary people concrete, evidence-based instruction on leading in today's male-majority world, rebelling against dis-empowering "shoulds," outsmarting all "isms", and making big life/business changes that really "stick."
In 2018, Femily founded the American Association of Corporate Gender Strategists to address a growing demand for rigor and best practices in the field. That same year, she launched San Francisco's Executive Womxn's forum at the Commonwealth Club. Femily serves on the board of Inforum, the innovation lab for the nation's oldest and largest public affairs forum.
